This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of warehouse activities, contributing to the timely delivery of materials and equipment for our groundbreaking projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and retrieval of materials.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to maintain efficiency.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is in optimal working condition, scheduling repairs or replacements as needed.
- Process Optimization: Implement and improve warehouse procedures to enhance productivity and minimize delays.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and transporters to facilitate smooth delivery and dispatch operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of warehouse activities, including inventory movements and staff schedules.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding stock levels, operational issues, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within the construction or logistics industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
