This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of MEP systems in our construction projects, adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MEP systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues or inefficiencies in MEP systems.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Assist in testing and commissioning MEP systems during project completion phases.
- Monitor tools, equipment, and materials to ensure proper functioning and availability.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in the MEP field.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.
- 3+ years of experience as an MEP Technician, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to MEP systems.
