Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Plan Updates: Modify existing drawings based on project requirements, client feedback, and engineering adjustments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and senior drafters to ensure accurate representation of designs.
- Documentation: Maintain an organized library of design documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for project teams.
- Quality Assurance: Review drawings for compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Technical Support: Assist in producing 3D models and visualizations to support project presentations.
- Problem-Solving: Address technical drafting challenges and provide innovative solutions to meet project deadlines.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building regulations and industry standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest drafting tools, techniques, and trends in construction design.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in drafting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Attributes: Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction techniques, materials, and local regulations in Dubai is an advantage.
